I’m sure everyone has seen this joke:
“There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who don’t.”
I prefer the following version that goes as follows:
There are 10 kinds of people in the world:
- those who understand trinary,
- those who don’t understand trinary
- and those who mistake it for binary.
I prefer this one :
There are only 10 types of people in the world : those who understand binary, those who don’t, and those who understand gray code.
Since when is there a numeral “3” in trinary? Does this make you a member of the second group?
Every positional numeral system has base 10.
There are two types of people:
1) those, who start their indexes with 1
1) those, who start their indexes with 0
