That’s a pretty low blow, not funny, and not substantiated. As much as people like you like to bash religion, you need to look around you (if you are in the U.S.) and realize that a lot of the good things you take for granted are in place solely because of Christianity. There are always bad people, but religion itself is not bad.

Not to mention that there are plenty of scientists, mathematicians (for those who would set them apart) and others working in academic fields who are also devout Christians. They can see past the claims made by a minority of Christians and non-Christians that the two are incompatible.
However, they’re too busy living according to God’s will – doing their work well and being Good People being part of that – to get noticed by the mainstream media in the same way those minorities do.
